Thought I'd try this for something different..... Love it, Helen. The light and the composition are great.

The world needs more googly eyes! They make everything better and everyone smile! Wars wouldn't last 5 minutes if soldiers wore them!

A little hump-day levity. Looks like our large "hardware" chain, Canadian Tire, is telling me to get a grip. Never miss an opportunity. This evening, I made a pork tenderloin stir fry that included red and yellow bell peppers. This pepper is definitely alarmed. I really like your yellow bell pepper!! Very cute!!!

I thought Autumn had set in with strong winds and heavy rain. The flowers in the garden started to look very sad. Shorter days have arrived and it's downhill all the way to winter. THEN there is today when all is calm and sunny again. The bees are all around the flowers, it's fairly warm and summer is back. I'm sure this can't last too much longer but while it does, I thought I'd take this flower photo. I've no idea what it is, some kind of daisy maybe. Bought it in the Spring and the label is lost. I've often admired the colours in it..

Ruby-crowned kinglet and a great horned owl. These are a huge challenge because they are in almost constant motion and usually hidden behind twigs and leaves. The owl was actually yawning. It probably never even saw Evita.

Created for surfers, we have a webcam located in town that gives current ocean conditions. Thought this was a better share than the shot I tried to get from the balcony. We are experiencing the effects of tropical storm Ophelia.... And in the parking lot across the street.....

Well that looks like a swimming pool and not a parking lot.

The Livingstone Range this morning. Next weekend we will close the summer place....from where I took this photo. It is time as the days are short and the nights cool. Time to shift into autumn from home base. Always a melancholy time but is is time to move forward.
