am thinking another possibility may be a block of ice goes in the top door and the milk-man puts the dairy products in the bottom door I will do some further research. Had not thought of any other possibility. cjt

may be a block of ice goes in the top door and the milk-man puts the dairy products in the bottom door I like the ashes idea as the concrete and steel box is fireproof. The ice box idea is a possibility but I'd lean to something else. It presumably would get sun on occasion and concrete and steel have low insulation values.

Should be self explanatory. I did not take the group shot but all of the others and wrote the supporting story. A good project. Hope the owls use one of the two nests we put up today.

Thank you Lillias and Helen. We are hopeful a pair will use one of the two nests. Of course, no guarantees. I'll keep you posted.

Dredging in the ocean as part of beach replenishment.....and then one of just the helicopter that happened to be flying over the location.

I got my Fuji out of mothballs. These are some of the flowers a neighbour gave me.

the helicopter that happened to be flying over the location If you will search that big number that is on the tail fin, 6575, you will find all sorts of photos and videos of that particular helicopter performing rescues; maybe add the word "Helicopter 6575" to your search terms.

If you will search that big number that is on the tail fin, 6575 I'm one step ahead of you this time, BuckSkin.......already did that.

Today was the local Santa Claus parade followed by an opportunity for the local kids to have their photos taken with Santa. Our camera club has been doing the photo bit for a few years now and has got quite efficient at it - today turning out over 128 prints in under 2 hours. Here are a couple of pictures of the set-up - the first is the background set up in the corner of a gym by the amateur theatre group. The second is the photography end with two cameras tethered to two laptops running Lightroom connected to two Selphy printers. Lighting is from three flashes fired remotely by the cameras. With this set-up we can take a shot and produce a finished print in under a minute. Tony
