I do remember you posting about this in the past, Tony. That's quite a sophisticated set-up. What a great community project for your camera club.

Today was the local Santa Claus parade followed by an opportunity for the local kids to have their photos taken with Santa. Our camera club has been doing the photo bit for a few years now and has got quite efficient at it - today turning out over 128 prints in under 2 hours. Here are a couple of pictures of the set-up - the first is the background set up in the corner of a gym by the amateur theatre group. The second is the photography end with two cameras tethered to two laptops running Lightroom connected to two Selphy printers. Lighting is from three flashes fired remotely by the cameras. With this set-up we can take a shot and produce a finished print in under a minute. That looks very good Tony!

Kids and birds. I don't think the parents will mind since were are a sparsely distributed group. This is Amelia, Ben and Finn. They live three house down and are awesome kids. They are play outside all summer and rip around on decent winter days. I whistled at them today and they tore down the walk to say hi. You never want to get Ben's attention unless you have a few minute to listen to his latest story. Today, it was about an elf they are getting for their tree. Great fun. And a male pine grosbeak at the river today. Oops...will post later ... imgbb is currently down for maintenance.

I went in search of circles to photograph today for the Weekly Photo Challenge No. 448 - Circles. I belong to a "hearts photos" Facebook group and came across this. Before you think that I can't focus my photos well and this photo is mushy ... these heart-shaped leaves are photographed through the pond ice. I gingerly walked onto the ponds today to get photos of air bubbles (circles). In the shaded areas, there is 10 to 15 cm of hard ice ... much to my surprise. (I walked no more than 3 metres from shore so was in no danger.) These leaves are on the bottom a bit below the bottom of the ice.

Sun Cracked Poster. While visiting the post office today, I saw this sun-cracked poster outside a hair salon. Kind regards Chris

Breaking the two picture rule..... I have been wanting to get a picture of a fox at Sandy Hook for quite some time. Finally today I got four that I liked.....but couldn't pick just two for my post. So posting three today.
