Hi everyone,
This little house, built in 1841, was the boyhood home of the famous William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody. It was originally built on the banks of the Mississippi river in LeClaire, Iowa. Now it stands in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West’s Cashman Greever Garden in Cody, Wyoming. In 1975 it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. I would love to see what you can do with this famous house. Let your creative juices flow and . . . don’t forget to have fun!

Helen, great idea and execution. I love it! It just looks like this house has been there all along.

Might it have looked somewhat like this when he lived in the house?

I tried 3 times to load this as a thumbnail, but it always appears in the thread full-size. What am I doing wrong? Rita

Rita Rita, I think admin (Craig?) changed the way postimage.org works - you can choose the size of your image but it will no longer be a clickable thumbnail. You can either post a larger size or go for another way of sharing your image if you prefer the clickable thumbnail that opens up to a bigger picture (eg Pixentral) Bayla

Bayla, thanks for your quick reply. I wasn't around much the last 2 weeks and missed that update.

Rita, The thread where it was discussed can be found HERE Not sure that I prefer it, sometimes it can be a bit of a pain wading through threads containing large pictures. Bayla

Bayla Thanks Bayla, found it. I see the reasoning now, but I thought one of the objectives was to save space on our forum and besides I like thumbnails that open out into nice, detailed big images, that really show what people did with the original. But whatever turns everybody on is fine with me.

but I thought one of the objectives was to save space on our forum Hi Rita, using postimage.org to upload your photos does not actually take any space up on the forum; it works the same as the other hosting services that can be used to upload photos to the forum (Flickr, Cupload, etc).

I agree, Bayla Having seen this way, I prefer the thumbnails This way really makes the thread so much longer to scroll through Maybe enough of the others will get fed up with it too
