Have you masked out any areas where you didn’t want the effect, or lowered the opacity in some areas? No, I haven't Jacki. This is the first time I tried to create a textured look using filters rather than textures. Good suggestion, I'll give it a try later today....and it was the red umbrellas that caught my eye.

Thanks, Jacki. I removed the texture from the red umbrellas and the front support beams.....and partially removed it from the top railing, the road and the white umbrellas. I think it creates a sense of depth and I like the results.

More dead flowers. I took a few different arrangements today so there will probably be more to follow.

Love your composition, and the colour of the vase is so pretty.

Thanks, Jacki. Version 2.... Too much mat? Think I like it better with no mat.

I like the mat, sort of gives it a finished finish, and the mat colours you chose do work well with the image.

The mat gives it a finished look, so I vote mat

I did use texture (2 Lil Owls white rabbit) but hardly noticeable I think. The album was one of the things I found when going through "stuff". Taking the picture was my reward for completing (well almost) the chore.

I like the composition and tone of this page. The (past their best) flowers drooping from the vase add to the scene for me. Very nice.

It's a lovely image, and I think you matched all the tones really well. Amazing what treasures we find when we have to sort through 'stuff'.

Used "A touch of" texture by Kim Klassen and Creme Anglaise from Adobe Paper Pack.
