Rita and Clive I think the problem here lies in the fact that the item is supposed to be floating inside a box so I don’t think the normal rules re shadowing apply. That’s just my thoughts. This is my last try. I copied the teacup twice and filled with a brown colour. Blurred and reduced the opacity of both and put one into place behind the cup and the other on the bottom of the ‘box’. I also applied a little motion blur to the cup.

It certainly looks floating to me. Are you sure this is your last try?

I agree, it looks suspended in mid-air. Now, how about the woman who hangs there when the board is taken away from beneath her?

It certainly is. There is no end to what can be done. Really like your log box.

Yes, me too, kind of like a log cabin that has been turned inside out! It looks so empty though; what would go inside, a forest?

I really like the porpoises ritage, it looks like a sort of inverted out-of-bounds effect!

Thank you, Tom. I was trying to fake a sense of motion.
