As best as I could I followed the tutorial by Hazel Meredith for this. I used 6 different textures - 5 were Hazels freebies (not the ones she used in the tut as I don’t have them) and one was by dianadkn from Brusheezy. I used varying blend modes and opacities on the textures. I found her method of selecting the Queen Anne Lace flower and extracting it from the background interesting and very effective. Credits: Image from Pixabay, Textures from Hazel Meredith and dianadkn at brusheezy Grunge brush by struckdumb - Deviant Art. This was a fun exercise. I've been so impressed with the work on this thread (and with how long it has been going!). I'm finally getting in on it myself. This was an abandoned barge alongside a river in Alaska.  |
