So many great submissions for last month's Animals theme! This month's theme was suggested by Tony a few months back. It immediately brought to mind these two images from my archives: When I was at a local park the other day I took these pictures with this theme in mind:
All of my images were edited in SE. However the two taken the other day were edited in the new DXO version which I recently purchased. They have added a couple of new presets that I particularly like. Looking forward to seeing your road and path images this month!

Thanks Helen. The sky is angry (but pretty) here today and I might go to that spot and try again.

The road through Portmeirion in Wales - had the opportunity to stay here a few times a few years back so was good to relook at some old photos and see what newer software would do. Re-processed the raw file in Lightroom with a B&W profile. Thanks Helen. Will be looking out for some more roads and paths. Tony

Well I'd certainly like to wander down that road with camera in hand, Tony. Beautiful tonal range.

A path along a "jerker line" that operates a historic oil well at the far end - The area was open for socially distanced self guided tours today so was able to give the camera some exercise! Tpny

Nice, Karen. I bet that is a beautiful place to visit.
Unique submission, Tony. I like the way my eye travels down the line and the grass path together.

Frank, looks just like one I've photographed in a near-by town. I'll have to get over there and share ours....unless you were visiting Little Silver, NJ. You processing gives it a rather ominous look as one approaches the end of the walkway.

Man, you guys are GOOD! These are really terrific. Here's a footbridge from my morning walk. Conversion in Adobe Camera Raw. Thanks for the theme Helen!

And yours is as well, Bill! Who wouldn't want to walk down that bridge and see what lies ahead!
