That looks really good, Lillias. Like your use of complimentary colors.

Cosy round the campfire, who's bringing the marshmallows? I'll bring some Jacki but the fire may well be out by the time I get there... NIce job with the shading.

Here is my take on Helen's country house picture. Original: I converted to vectors (bitmap tracing) in CorelDraw to produce a posterized effect and them imported as a bitmap into PS Elements and did some tweaking. I had a lot of fun! Kind regards Chris

Jacki, your Camp Fire is my favorite. I believe it most clearly expresses the style we are talking about.

Processed in Topaz SIMPLIFY, applied several times progressively.

Thankyou Ritage, I really like how your old shack turned out, so when you say you applied Topaz Simplify several times, did you then mask back in some of the details?

Jacki, it wasn't necessary to mask anything out. Each application swallowed some more details. I think there were 2 in between the two I used above.

Interesting, I will have to give this method a whirl, if my simplify software still works....

Oh very well done Jacki. Did you do this with your Simplify software?
