Nice capture ! Now I get to Google it as I have no idea what it is.
UPDATE: In reading about them, I just learned that Australia has Stingless Bees; I can't imagine a bee that does not sting....
There are plenty of bees that do sting!

I noticed today, my yellow miniature rose, has a red flower on it. It joins a branch which has a yellow flower. Is this magic? The photo is as it came from my tablet.

It's probably a "sport". Modern roses usually have several "parents" in their family history and occasionally a genetic mutation shows up in an otherwise normal rose bush with normal, uniform colors, petal and leaf sizes, etc. You could try rooting or grafting a cutting of that sport in hopes of producing a unique new variety of that rose but the new rose plant may just revert back to the original color once it becomes mature.

@ Jim Many thanks for that interesting information, Jim. I will leave well alone. It makes a good subject when chatting to my gardening friends.

Seeing so many beautiful pictures of Peonies by friends on FB, I went out today to take some of my own. They will undoubtedly provide me with hours of fun as I try different editing options. There is a charming old home in a neighboring town that has a beautiful garden. I'm sharing one of my peony pictures and a picture of the garage behind the house.

Just when I was missing my white pelicans, you capture another great shot. The last stragglers have left - we thought a couple were too lazy to make the trip home, but, alas, I haven’t seen them in a week. They started coming here in about 2014 and we can have upwards of three dozen on our lake. Their yearly appearance is always such a joy.
