The restaurant people are getting a little creative today as high tide is once again a problem...
And due to the cloud cover the planes are flying lower.......

Neat photos both !
From your vantage point, you can look right in the windows; from my vantage point, I still am only going to get a belly shot of the plane.
On that note, since the majority of observers are only ever going to be able to see the belly, one would think it would be FAA law that there be a large set of "N" numbers also on the belly or underneath the wings.
I find it interesting that your planes fly under the clouds; when we have cloud cover, we only ever hear them and never see them because they are above the clouds, even the small planes.

I find it interesting that your planes fly under the clouds BuckSkin, that's because we are near three major airports with approximate distances (Newark (EWR) (44.3 miles), Philadelphia (PHL) (47.1 miles), New York JFK (JFK) (51.4 miles) and New York La Guardia (LGA) (56.1 miles). They are probably in a landing approach.

Not a happy day in Cliveville. Oh well. Hopefully it will not get too bad...so far, I've had worse colds. Mrs. Clive was + on Saturday and me today. It was inevitable that I'd get it despite precautions. We will be fine in a few days.

Once the forestry workers had cleared the trees you can appreciate size of the pond, access is through the cattle gates.

After three days of gloom it was great to be outside on this most glorious day. We visited Allaire Village which is about a 30 minute drive.

It was nice here for the last several days.....; today was weird, though; it was 46° this morning, and 84° this evening; forecast 44° tonight.
Was that some sort of religious community ?
Those impressive buildings look like they would fit right in at our Shakertown.

BuckSkin , Allaire is a great place to visit and it's near both Helen and me! Here's what the website says about the village: 'The Historic Village at Allaire was once an iron-producing, factory-town known as the Howell Iron Works, Co.' To find out more, check their website: allairevillage.org/
OH...and great pictures, Helen! I'd like to get back there to photograph!

Got out for a short walk this afternoon. Felt good. Very fall-like here. Sunny but coolish. Some pleasing reflections. Green ash are pretty trees and usually turn before other trees. A few days and a howling wind and they will be bare.

Finally got out with my camera while attending a luncheon at The Boathouse at Mercer Lake, in Mercer County Park. Grabbed a few shots on this gorgeous day (after all the gloomy days, it was heavenly!). The Lake: At the edge of the lake:
