Unfortunate about the apples. Please ship me some runner beans. Love them. Not had any for a few years!

For a few reasons, including lack of rain, our reservoir is low. (There are other reasons as well.) Boaters have not been able to use the boat launch for about 3 weeks. The reservoir is 32 years old and was much lower once before in late 2001. The levels this year could get as low this year. Anyway... I took a seven drone photos this morning and stitched them into a vertorama.

Jim - Just one of those things, she's unavoidably away at present. My son and I will sort it out next week. pontiac1940 - I would send runner beans if I could but they might be a bit past their best by the time they got to you. Certainly a good year for them.

That's good work pontiac1940. A great composition to show the situation. Drone photos opens up a whole new world of possibilities for taking photos.

I would send runner beans if I could but they might be a bit past their best by the time they got to you. HA HA! Yeah, Mart, they might be mush by the time they arrive. I grew some about 15 years ago. They are so good. TRUE STORY: You know that it is illegal for people to carry fresh fruit, veggies and meats between countries when flying. In 1957, we flew back to England for a vacation and to visit my gran. Coming home, my mother put 2 or 3 pounds of runners in her carry-on tote. Upon return to Canada, the customs inspection guy stuck his hands into the bag, rummaged around and removed his hands and came up with nothing. My mother was nervous but all as good and nothing happened. Funny. That's good work pontiac1940. A great composition to show the situation. Drone photos opens up a whole new world of possibilities for taking photos. Thanks. Drones are great for views not possible on land.

These are cherry tomatoes in my garden polytunnel. They are a little slow to ripen because the tunnel is shaded until the afternoon. Even so, I am starting to pick them now. Home-grown tomatoes are much more tasty than those bought in the shops..

Straight combining canola and a mule deer buck. They were about 1 km apart this evening. Smoky skies here.

What a majestic looking chap... Thank you. And most obliging as well. Sometimes they will run off if you drove to close. This one (and two others) let me get out of the truck and take a few photos before sauntering off.

The saying two's company, three's a crowd doesn't apply here. The recent rain is stimulating my front yard cactus.
