Lovely fall day here for Canadian Thanksgiving. I ate way too much!! Ugh! Still no hard frost here but the daisies are showing their age. Lots of bee and other insect activity on the few remaining flowers. Flower in sunshine and the background in shade.

Ring-billed gull celebrating our Thanksgiving with a croissant! Nothing but high-class gulls in our neighbourhood. 😉 The croissant is still dry so the gull might have picked it up at one of the picnic tables close to the ponds.

It’s the Little house. (from the Stuart Little movies) I have never seen the Stuart Little movies. How in the world was this huge company able to build it's new building with in inches of this small home? Why would they WANT to do that?? Very strange!!

Had dinner tonight at Sandy Hook......tried for a quick sunset with my phone. Need to go back with photography as the reason for being there and choose a location more carefully.

Just back from a 4-day road trip. Sooooo good to be home. This is the SPRINGWATER SCHOOL about 3 hours north of here but close to my BIL's house. We stayed at BIL's and SIL's house last night before coming home today. Took the photo this morning from their driveway about 45 minutes after sunrise. It was built in 1922 and closed in 1942.

This is a nice looking home. Too bad no one ever bought the home to keep it from deteriorating or was it never put up for sale?
