I don't know who was more surprised, him/her or me! HA, good one Pat. Beaver or muskrat?

Clive, I'm not sure - muskrat I think...... Looks more like a muskrat face although their ears are not usually this prominent. Would lean to muskrat for sure. They are quite fun to watch.

Northern flicker. Yellow-shafted form. The bird is (more or less) untouched but the background was a tad noisy (ISO 2,000) which showed on the plain background. I created a new layer and denoised the imaged and then used a layer mask to reveal the bird and a few Russian olive leaves.

Trying one of your vertical panoramas pontiac1940 . Wanted to get those puffy clouds. Stitched in PSCC. What do you think?
So while I was pleased with the one above the local news was reporting on this formation.

I like it. The foreground ( ... is forewater a word? ) is a good base for the cloud and since it is a vertical cloud the vertical format works well. Vertoramas are neat and we could all could do more. Panoramas are nice for sure but so are vertos. Your stitching went well. Does PSCC do vertos? I don't think PSE does unless the images are all tipped left or right and a "pano" made and then uprighted. As noted, I use MS ICE. Clive

Thanks, Clive. The merging didn’t work perfectly. But that may just be me. I did have to do some masking with the originals….but it is accurate to the scene.

While out walking today..... Helen, In your first picture here I do not see anything prominent. What am I supposed to be seeing?

Inspeqtor , what caught my eye was the way the differently shaped and colored leaves stood out against the darker ivy in the background. I also was thinking about the video shared by Chris in this post.

Similar to the pictures above. Attracted to the color and shape of the leaves.
