Another varied day here ... I went on four excursions today so get three photos.  Great horned owl   Prairie rattlesnake. They were out catching the last few rays of sun and warmth before it gets cold next week and they will go underground for 6 months. An odd life.  |

NORTHERN FLICKER .... feeding on Virginia creeper berries and wishing the creeper was in Virginia vs our Coaldale backyard. A few snowflakes were falling at the time. Earlier, I said it was dull here. This was shot at ISO 8,000. Denoised the plain background.  |
