Please join me in showcasing Christmas traditions. You do not have to create a scrapbook page - photos do not have to be your own nor recent - just a representation of your tradition What do you like to do each holiday season? What are your favorite memories?
We watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. The only problem - stopping our son from quoting each line throughout the movie. You know you've seen a movie a lot of times when you know each line.photo: personal template: digital scrapper kit: digital design den

This is a lovely idea, Janice. It would be fun to try to create a page to share. In the meantime, my granddaughter has been asked to model for a gymnastics leotard company. Last night they posted this video which I hope I can share. I had always made a Buche de Noel cake for Christmas Eve dinner. When she was about 7 years old our granddaughter had an idea for the Christmas cake. She has been making it ever since.

After I created this, I'm not sure if it fits exactly as to what you had in mind but I'm adding it anyway, Janice. It kind of went off in an unintended direction. I added the Nativity scene first and then everything seemed to revolve around the purply color. AASPN WaterColor Template Album 2 Background StockSolo Pictures , personal I do have an idea for another page with a non-traditional tradition that my husband and I do on Christmas day.

That's lovely Helen - Family memory pages are my favorite.
As for 'fitting' - I think any memory is a 'fit'

Favorite Christmas song
Layout is oldie but goodie circa 2008 - no notes on template or kit usedNote: To wrap the beads around the corner bracket: Three layers - bottom is beads, middle is bracket, top is beads again Erase top layer where you do not want to see it. There is usually no problem where the layers are duplicated, but if so, erase as needed Hint: if you select the areas you are erasing from - in this case, the bracket - then go to your bead layer to erase - it's easier to erase what is overlapping as only the areas within the selection will be affected by erasing

Can't take credit, Helen - again, I used a template. Did I ever mention that I love templates. LOL

Helen, that is a very cool page. I can’t put my finger on it, but it just speaks to me

That sounds like a great tradition to me Helen. Comfy clothes, good food and plenty of relaxation...what could be nicer. I love the font you have used.

Thanks, Lillias. We do have a nice family dinner on Christmas Eve....that's where the leftovers comes from. The font used is Tangerine. The original background with different books. Keep trying to figure out what the problem was with my page. Think it was the file size of the image that I used. u.cubeupload.com/HMCA/279ChristmasTraditionNe.jpg

LOL...turns out I have that font just didn't have it installed...duh! I'm afraid I have no idea about the problem with the file size. Strange indeed but it seems that the suggestion about metadata might just be the culprit.
