I have never figured out a way to do a search for a specific filename in FastStone. Is there a way to do this? Thank you for the above tips. I've used FastStone for years and never really explored its features! Sorry, but within FS Image Viewer searching for images by file name seems limited to doing so within a single folder only. "Child" folders nested with a "parent" folder will not be searched. In the FS browser view (left) from the folders directory on the left select the folder in which you wish to search. Select "File" from the top tool bar; from the pop-down menu select "Open". From the new window that opens cursor down near the bottom to the blank "File Name" field. Enter the file name, including wild card characters * and ? as necessary. Click on the "Open" button to the right of the "File Name" field. If within the folder, thumbnails of the image(s) you are looking for will display in the new window. If you come across any way within FastStone to search for a file name beyond the confines of a single folder please let us know!

Thanks Pete. Even being able to search one folder is very helpful.
