Two for the price of one, Pete. Amazing what you don't at first notice.

Finally tried the B/W setting in camera today, Vicki! First one processed for a high key look. Second one a vintage look.....both in NIK SE 3

Looking for something else today, I came across these taken in 2012 in Milan Italy. They were part of an exhibit to draw attention to the need for repair to the cathedral. You can read about it here.

Finally tried the B/W setting in camera today, Vicki! First one processed for a high key look. Second one a vintage look.....both in NIK SE 3 Isn't it great how you can take a black & white image and open it as in color in ACR/Photoshop/Elements? It feels like magic to me. LOL These are both great, Helen. Both so different, but the processing is appropriate for each one! Looking for something else today, I came across these taken in 2012 in Milan Italy. They were part of an exhibit to draw attention to the need for repair to the cathedral. You can read about it here. A bit of whimsy, there, Helen. Love the snails...and how they seem to be 'pointing the way' with their positioning. Great image for this challenge!

Thanks, Vicki.....but those two still life images are boring........glad you liked the snails.
Back to edit this comment........I really liked using the B/W setting in my camera....the still life compositions were what I meant by boring.......
