Thanks Michelb but that's not what comes up when I right-click on sub-category. I get this: photo hosting sites

I use PSE11 and I've accidentally (my wife calls it my trigger finger) turned two Categories into Sub-Categories in my Tags list. How can I restore these two to Category status?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Sepiana. Unfortunately, none of those steps worked. I'm not sure how badly I need those original brushes; I can probably always download some from Brusheezy, for example. Thoughts?

I'm using PSE11 and wanted to add a set of 4 brushes. In the process I seem to have managed to wipe out the default brushes that were in the Preset Manager. How can I get them back?

I appreciate this, and will give it a go. But I'm still unclear what you mean by "drag the gradient". Where is the gradient's location? Where do I drag it from?

Hi Sepiana, I'm still struggling with this gradient business. In your point 1: what kind of layer should I create, and in point 3: where am I dragging the gradient from. Here's where I'm at at this point.

Ahh, you people are a wonder! Thanks so much. This is the kind of thing I get into about every 3 years so forget everything I learned before. That's going to work beautifully.

I'm using PSE11. I'm trying to create a poster with the key words Music Festival. So far I have them in black with a bevel and in a nice wave. Now I would like to replace the black with a gradient or rainbow effect. In the gradient tool, I got a a gradient that I quite liked but when I applied it over the "Music Festival" text, the entire poster was covered with the gradient. How to I force it to apply to the text only?
Thanks in advance.

With my twitchy mouse finger, I accidentally slipped an existing Category "into" another Category with the result that the original became a Sub-category to the second one. I tried right-clicking on the Sub and clicked on Edit and saw in the drop-down menu the choice to have it convert into a Category. But it did nothing. I'd appreciate any help as always. I'm using PSE11.

I've created a 3-page newsletter with PSE11. I did 3 individual files (8½ x 11). I'm printing the first two pages on one sheet (front and back) and page 3 on a second sheet. No problems there. What I want to do then is save it (them) as a PDF. I don't want 3 PDFs so I'm wondering if there's a way to "merge" the 3 files to make a single file for that purpose
Thanks in advance.
