Another weekly wonder in our galleries. These images are terrific and deserve all the attention we can give them. Congratulations to all who take the time to post in the galleries and in particular those brought to our attention in IOW!

M is for Machinery - - the antique kind found on a farm. The almond orchards across the street are in full bloom now. The owners of this farm have been in business since the 1940s so might have actually used this equipment.

I am glad you are here with me on my trip through the gallery. I bring to your attention a few posts that speak to me. Corfe Castle overlooking Studland, Dorset by tourerjimtourerjim has merged images to make a delightful scene with the silhouetted foreground framing the magnificent castle. Take a look at the wide range of talent on his flickr photostream. You are having way, way too much fun and are making me jealous! In fact, my New Year's resolution is to play with my photos that are gathering dust on my hard drive. Dandelion by juliab juliab has a new lens! Yes, I knew you would be here in the gallery with proof of it. One day I may just try to find a dandelion worth photographing. I might even take a minute to look at the beauty of the much maligned plant before I turn my eyes to the ones in the lawn and tell them to be gone! along with the crabgrass. Mission by SepianaSepiana, I am fascinated with missions.... I have images of the missions on the California El Camino Real, as well as some of the far older ones on the El Camino Real from Mexico City to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Oh yes, the Texas missions are included. One summer I visited some of those missions and fell in love with them. Now i can include this image in my mind. IOWAnna's Hummingbird by angelagangelag: Oh, how I wish my skills included bird photography. One day I sat at my tripod, camera ready, remote in hand, waiting for the hummer to come to the patio feeder. Though my camera was outfitted with a splendid borrowed lens, the camera speed did not come up to speed.... I got a few keepers but nothing I would hang on my wall. So thanks for the memory of that hot day on the patio. I am glad you came along with me on my journey into the past, and along with Bob Hope, I can say "thanks for the memories of time lost, time past". Esther

Thanks for taking the time to look over the posts in the gallery and zeroing in on a few to bring to our attention. It isn't every week that I go through the gallery, so am happy to look at those the judges bring forward. I was also pleased that there are so many entries to choose from.
So congratulations to all those artists who take the time to post in their galleries. Keep on keeping on!

Hi Simone I'm now learning to use Premiere Elements 12 which came with PSE 12. If I remember correctly, buying them both was actually cheaper at the time than buying only PSE. Prices were very much reduced at that time - I found the receipt in the box yesterday when I took out the disc to install it. Thanks Julie I have been using Premiere for years and found that it is familiar to the whole Elements environment. You can integrate with the Elements side easily. Another mention for muvipix dot com is appropriate here because the guys on that site were active in the early days of the Village. They have a lot of good hints and freebies, so you are not required to subscribe. I just purchased v14 and find it is easier than ever before!

Beautifully accomplished project. I know the tablet can be so helpful to those with an artistic flair. I just never could get the hang of it, so gave mine to a niece who was dying to afford one.

A memorial to a family member is something you can come back to visit again and remember all the good times. I visited your blog and was happy to see some delightful pages.
