Welcome to the forum. When you setup your gallery, your photos will be seen by the Image of the Week judges. Watch for that thread which will bring forward the images that have caught the eye of the judge. No prizes, just recognition of your photo/art. Looking forward to seeing some of your world photos.

I haven't produced a video in many months, but just thinking about it leads me to what files you can import. That would not have been my first choice. A DVD seems to me the final product that you export.
Have you had an opportunity to look at the website muvipix dot com? They may have some solutions for you.

More WoW images this week. Thanks for bringing these to our attention, Andy. Congratulations to those hard workers who continue to astound me with their artistic eye.

I have often wondered how close the ears on my daughter's dogs were to butterfly wings. Here is my proof they are really papillons. i58.tinypic.com/2637ceg.png

Thanks for the link. I really do have a difficult time getting this into my head. I have studied it more than once and still use the "Program" mode. I am afraid I will forget to reset everything after one shoot and mess up the next one.

Because of this conversation, I have my son adding the SSD to my configuration for a rebuild on my 5-year-old computer. My hard drive failed, so he took the computer to LA and is rebuilding it.... well if all the stuff he is getting for it means "rebuilding." It sounds more like gutting everything and starting over. His first reaction to my suggesting the SSD was ---- "those are really expensive!" Then he started looking and found a 500GB for under $200. He has come around to my way of thinking on SSDs.

It's that time again. I have seen some great images this week and appreciate the variety. We had twirls and totems; city scapes and landscapes; flowers, forests, and fields; windows with cats and windows without a purpose. I have enjoyed looking at the gallerys this week and am in awe of the talent of this group. [Applause, Applause] Stand up and take a bow! Dress Up by drjoerogers
This brings up memories of when our children were small and loved to dress up. Bashful by Kathylee
Sunflowers are a popular flower to photograph because of the variety of ways they can pose. This one doesn't want you to see her face. Tiny Forest World by SimoneI don't know how she did it.... I've tried laying on the ground and still can't see underneath the mushrooms like this. Now that I know how beautiful they look, I don't have to do it any more. Thanks Simone! Double Exposure by SepianaDouble exposures elude me, too. I can't seem to find the right combination to make a whole. This one is masterful. A combination artistic twirls and a dangerous tiger brought me to the choice of: IOW

Just a note regarding Grant's tools. If you have a question for him, he can be found on the Suburbs Facebook page.

Thanks for all this knowledge. I just had a 5-year-old desktop where the hard drive failed. My son is rebuilding the computer for me. I have been peppering him daily with info about this and that.... Fortunately, about a year ago I gave up buying external drives and subscribed to Carbonite. They will back up specific files and an external drive for $99/year. They have offered to help me do the restore when I get the computer back home from L.A. next month. I will update you on how that turns out. Also, ds#2 has offered to just go for it and install Win 10. I saw an article on how to do that when the hardware has failed. One of the articles I sent to him. Es
