Matthew isn't Irish but he makes sure to get a share of their luck by enjoying a pint of Guinness as a tribute to St Patrick's Day. i.ibb.co/Dtg9XGx/Matthew.jpgBrenda

There are 675 numbered bus routes in London. I once tried to ride on all of them, but had to give up because of traffic jams. This bus stop lists the numbers that stop here in Uxbridge. There are several stops like this in Uxbridge High Street. i.ibb.co/QrhG8HP/BS.jpgMatthew

Yesterday we visited the National Railway Museum in York, where numbers identified each individual piece of antique rolling stock. i.ibb.co/5TZFfms/T1.jpgIn the adjacent galleries we admired a real miscellany of antique items with a railway connection. I was especially impressed by the numbers on this splendid old timepiece, which surely had once lived in the office of a major railway bigwig. i.ibb.co/V0GsbVd/C1.jpgBrenda

A Rare Remnant of Old London Bridge, this alcove is one of two that remain of the fourteen that the Bridge once boasted. They can be found in Victoria Park in east London and were moved here in the Victorian era. Relics indeed! i.ibb.co/frwg0ft/L.jpgBrenda

'Tis the Season to decorate a dignified old home with a soppy Santa and a daft dinosaur. Just right for the season of jollity. i.ibb.co/Ss4gTWC/FC.jpgBrenda

'Tis the season to wish everyone a Merry Christmas - but 'tis also the season of coughs, colds and 'Flu. i.ibb.co/60r59BD/Flu.jpgDennis
