This challenge is similar to an earlier one on Glowing Edges where there is no specific tutorial to follow as long as you incorporate a specific filter, in this case Find Edges, in your creation. Find Edges is a much more commonly used filter and in fact I ran across this tutorial that starts out: The Find Edges is one of my favorite Photoshop filters for playing with an image. I tend to agree so play away ... A couple of suggestions - having applied Find Edges in a layer you can leave it coloured or desaturate it - desaturation is commonly used for sketch effects. The blend mode makes a big difference and adjusting levels is often needed to add contrast. Here are examples with the cherries: And here's a sketch effect where I used Find Edges, Desaturated, used Overlay blend mode and then duplicated that layer a couple more times Looking forward to seeing what you come up with finding edges. PS - Inverting a Find Edges layer can do interesting things too. Tony

And I’ve never cleaned it - just lucky I guess as I do change lenses regularly. Had more problems with my Nikon than with my Fuji but that may be DSLR vs mirrorless as I believe the design of mirrorless makes them less prone to dust. Tony

No Elsa here but we did have a welcome cold front pass through lowering the temperature, dropping the humidity and producing some lovely cumulus clouds for adding to my sky replacement collection .. Tony

The last of the wren kids finally left home last weekend (took a lot of encouragement from the parents). Now the male is busy preparing a new nest for his next mate or maybe the same one... Tony

I'll go for butterflies today and took the long lens for a visit to a patch of milkweed in a local park hoping to find monarchs and despite being a windy spot there were a few - here's one: There were a lot more of these butterflies - I'm no expert but I think it's probably a Great Spangled Fritillary Tony

Good subject Alex. I rarely take pics of things in motion but one I do very often is one I've been involved in keeping running (it runs historic oil wells and has been doing so for over 100 years). Curiously I don't think I've ever tried converting one of the many pics I have to B&W but I do like the result. Converted using an Acros preset in Lightroom - will have to try shooting in-camera as being a Fuji it will shoot Acros B&W Tony

Tried pixelating the background and then using a half-tone frame from filter forge but couldn't quite match the mosaic to the half-toning so fiddled around a bit more and finished up with this: Tony

A day for relaxing in the garden (Clive's hot weather arrives here tomorrow). This hibiscus has survived two winters indoors where it became bug infested, lost all its leaves and looked ready for the compost bin. Stuck it outside this spring and it came back to life. Tony
